The Margarita charms are inspired by the iconic floral motifs found throughout Frida's work. Frida often wore flowers to celebrate her Mexican heritage. Flowers, being a symbol of fertility and fragility enabled Frida to express her sorrow at being unable to conceive. The tourmaline adds a vibrancy and colourfulness seen throughout her work.
